V — Apartment | AUSTRIA 2025 | sqm 92m²
Architect & Visualization: Sofia Petrov
V — Apartment is conceived as a calm, controlled interior where architecture acts as a neutral framework for objects, light, and daily rituals. The project is defined by a restrained material palette and a clear spatial hierarchy, allowing form and proportion to take precedence over decoration.
The layout is organized as a continuous sequence of spaces, where living, dining, kitchen, and sleeping areas are visually connected while maintaining functional clarity. Curved ceiling gestures and recessed planes subtly articulate the zones, softening transitions without interrupting spatial continuity.
A monochromatic base of off-white surfaces, light flooring, and warm neutral textiles establishes a consistent background. Within this setting, furniture elements, particularly sculptural chairs and low seating, are treated as spatial markers rather than accessories, introducing contrast, scale, and presence. These objects punctuate the space while reinforcing its overall balance and restraint.
Natural light is filtered through large openings and horizontal blinds, creating soft gradients and controlled shadows that enhance surface depth and material perception. Storage, kitchen elements, and built-ins are integrated seamlessly, maintaining visual clarity and minimizing disruption to the architectural language.
V — Apartment presents an interior where space is reduced to its essential components, allowing architecture and objects to coexist in a measured, composed environment.
