STRO Café is a dialogue between two opposing materials: raw concrete and straw. Concrete defines the structure. It is heavy, silent, and permanent, a material that carries weight, time, and stability. In contrast, straw introduces softness, warmth, and texture. Its fibrous nature absorbs light and sound, creating a tactile and human counterpoint to the rigid concrete surfaces. Soft, indirect lighting filters through the straw surfaces, warming the space and softening the concrete volumes. The result is an atmosphere that feels grounded and calm, where the heaviness of concrete is held and moderated by the natural presence of straw.
