Inspiration ↓
The vaulted ceilings amplify this concept, allowing light to spread smoothly across the curved surfaces, much like a flame reflecting within a sheltered space. The result is an atmosphere where light feels contained, calm, and alive, rather than projected.
The material palette, monolithic, mineral, and warm-toned—reinforces this idea of stillness and permanence, echoing the solidity of wax while allowing light to become the primary expressive element. Seating, counters, and built-in furniture are shaped as continuous, carved forms, enhancing the sense of flow and softness throughout the interior.
The café becomes an abstract interpretation of a candle: a space where architecture holds light, and light defines the emotional experience.
