Architect & Visualizations: Nikolai Vasilev

This interior is designed as a continuous and calm spatial experience, where architecture, materials, and light work together to create balance and clarity. A restrained palette of soft neutrals, light wood, and darker accents defines the atmosphere, allowing volumes and proportions to take precedence over decoration.
Vertical and horizontal planes intersect to create a dynamic yet restrained composition. Double-height volumes, floating elements, and open connections establish a sense of openness and continuity, while maintaining clear spatial hierarchies.
The staircase acts as an architectural spine, emphasizing vertical movement and reinforcing the dialogue between levels without interrupting the visual flow.
A limited and consistent material palette underpins the entire interior. Light wood flooring provides warmth and continuity, contrasting with dark stone and wood surfaces that introduce weight and depth. Neutral wall finishes and soft textiles soften the composition, balancing the precision of the architectural elements. Glass balustrades and minimal detailing preserve transparency and reinforce the sense of spatial fluidity.
Natural light is treated as a compositional element. Filtered through large openings and reflected across light surfaces, it enhances material textures and articulates volumes throughout the day. Shadows and highlights shift subtly, reinforcing depth and proportion rather than decorative emphasis.
The overall atmosphere is defined by restraint and coherence. Furniture and built-in elements are integrated into the architecture, maintaining visual order and allowing space to remain the primary focus. The project presents an interior that is calm, structured, and timeless where architecture and interior design merge into a single, continuous spatial experience.
